Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup
1 1/2 cups of sugar
3 cups of water
2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons of ground cloves
2 teaspoons of ground ginger
1 teaspoon of allspice
2 teaspoons of nutmeg
1/2 cup of pumpkin puree
Boil the water.
Add the sugar.
Once the sugar is dissolved, add spices and the puree.
Simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.
To use in an Pumpkin Spice Latte
2 oz. of espresso 4 oz. whole milk, frothed to 140 degrees
Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup (less or more, according to taste - try 2 tablespoons and adjust for there)
To use in an Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte
Refridgerate syrup - should be completely cold before using in iced drinks.
4 oz cold brew coffee
4 oz. of milk - try it with whole, almond or oat!
Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup (less or more, according to taste - try 2 tablespoons and adjust for there)
Shake or stir together, serve over ice.
